Is Istighfar free?

Yes, completely free, built as a sadaqah jariah. We may add optional donations later to cover costs, but the full app stays free for everyone.

Is my data private?

Your progress is only ever shared with friends you connect with, never publicly. Voice counting happens on your device, and your audio is never recorded or stored. See our Privacy Policy.

How does voice counting work?

It listens only for your istighfar phrases and counts them hands-free, using your device’s built-in speech recognition. Recite at a calm, steady pace for best results.

How do I delete my account?

Message us on Instagram at @istighfar.app and we’ll remove your account and data within a reasonable period.
